Pick a single domain
Decide in advance the ONE domain you'll work on for the next 50 minutes — not a category, a specific work output.
Eliminate environmental triggers
Close email, mute notifications, clear the visible workspace of anything off-domain. The 50-minute block is sacred — every visible alternative is a tax on focus.
Work for exactly 50 minutes
Set a timer for 50 minutes. Don't context-switch. Don't multitask. Don't check anything. If a thought intrudes, write it on a parking-lot list and return to the domain.
Take a 10-minute recovery
After 50 minutes, take a real 10-minute break — stand up, walk, look at distance, drink water. The recovery is what makes the next block possible.
Stack 2-3 blocks per day
Two to three 50/10 blocks per day produces more output than 8 hours of context-switched 'work.' Stack them in your highest-energy window.
