Goals are still important as one piece of success, but they're not the only road

Goal setting — and reading classics like Think and Grow Rich — has genuine value in developing the capacity to envision and pursue outcomes. But treating goals as the singular path to success is an oversimplification. They're one important piece of a larger system, not the whole system.
